Director of Digital Services

Jonny Sammut was appointed Director of Digital Services in September 2023.  He joins us from the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust, where he was the Chief of Digital & Innovation.

Jonny has two decades of leadership experience in digital and data services across both the private and public sectors, Jonny has held pivotal roles, including Director of Business Intelligence at Health Management Ltd and several strategic digital and data positions at Capita plc and Aviva plc

Jonny is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and a leading FEDIP practitioner (LFEDIP), reflecting his dedication to advancing professional standards in digital health. He is also a graduate of Cohort 4 of the NHS Digital Academy, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership from Imperial College London.
