Director of Digital Services

Jonny Sammut was appointed to the post of Director of Digital Services in September 2023. He joins us from the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust, where he was the Chief of Digital & Innovation.

Jonny has two decades of experience in leadership, digital and data services across both private and public sector organisations. Prior to joining NWAS, Jonny worked at Health Management Ltd as their Director of Business Intelligence and then at both Capita plc and Aviva plc in various digital and data roles.

A member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) and a recent cohort 4 graduate of the NHS digital academy attaining a Post graduate Diploma from Imperial College London in digital health leadership.

Jonny proudly upholds his commitment to questioning the status quo and strives to reform contemporary digital services.
