Get Involved

The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST) values the opinions of patients and the public and would like people to get involved in all aspects of the service.

This may include making decisions about their own care and treatment, to giving feedback on the services they receive and even influencing future plans.

People can give us feedback and suggestions about the service or even become more involved by taking part in surveys, reviewing leaflets through our Readers Panel, attend local events and sharing experiences by giving us their patient story.

If you just wish to give feedback or make a suggestion about any of our services including the emergency ambulance service or patient transport services visit our ‘Have your Say’ section.

Alternatively, please complete our online survey about your experience.

Our Promises

Thank you to the hundreds of people who were involved in the consultation on the Trust's Promises for older people, there was a great deal of support and respect for the service we have. These will be reviewed regularly in partnership with older people.

Children and young people across Wales have also told us what they’d expect when using our services.  We have developed a list of promises so that our staff know what’s important to children and young people when caring for them.
