Director of Partnerships and Engagement

Estelle Hitchon was appointed to the post of Director of Partnerships and Engagement in December 2015 having been on secondment with the Trust since October 2014 from Cardiff and Vale UHB.

Estelle is a communications and engagement specialist, who has delivered positive change across complex and politicised environments and is highly experienced in developing, delivering and evaluating effective communication and engagement strategies, with a particular focus on stakeholder, issues and crisis management. 

Estelle is experienced in working with Boards and Executive Teams in complex organisations to manage stakeholder interfaces, improve engagement and align agenda to deliver positive results.

With an MA in East European Studies, Estelle has worked as a journalist, politics lecturer and widely across the public sector in her 25 year career. She was also the first Head of Press at Welsh National Opera, helping to steer the organisation through one of the most turbulent times in its history.
