Welsh Ambulance Service to host bi-monthly Board meeting

THE Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting.

The public can join on Zoom or watch via our YouTube channel to hear senior leaders discuss a packed agenda, including the Trust’s Digital and Strategic Workforce Plans and the progress on actions to mitigate patient harm.

A call handler based in the Trust’s Clinical Contact Centre in Carmarthenshire, will discuss her experiences, and there will also be an opportunity to pose a question to the Board.

Chair Colin Dennis said: “Board meetings are an opportunity to really learn about our ambulance service and to understand the processes behind the decisions being made by the Board.

“They’re also an opportunity to hear first-hand about the work that’s happening here and how to improve things for our people and our patients, as well as put questions to its decision-makers.”
