Welsh Ambulance Service to host bi-monthly Board meeting next week

THE Welsh Ambulance Service will host its bi-monthly Board meeting next week.

Executive and Non-Executive Directors will meet next Thursday (29 September 2022) to discuss performance, progress against medium-term plans and the actions being taken to mitigate patient harm – and members of the public can join via Zoom.

Paramedics who supported the Isle of Man Ambulance Service at the world-famous TT motorsport festival in June will be sharing their reflections on the trip.

Board members will also be taking questions from members of the public.

Chair Martin Woodford said: “Virtual Board meetings are a great way to help us connect with staff, stakeholders and the wider public as part of our commitment to being a visible and transparent organisation.

“The ability to pose questions also enables the public to hear from Executives first-hand about how we are working to address the challenges across the system.

“I do hope you can join us for what should be another interesting Board meeting.”

Click here to join the meeting on Zoom, which starts at 09.30am.

Proceedings will also be streamed live to the Trust’s Facebook page.

You can pre-submit a question for the Board by emailing
AMB_AskUs@wales.nhs.uk.

A full agenda will be available on the Trust’s website in the coming days.
