The Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting.
The public are invited to join on Microsoft Teams to hear senior leaders discuss the Integrated Medium-Term Plan, which sets out the organisation’s key aims and ambitions for the next three years.
Key to the 2025-2028 plan is the evolution of the Trust’s clinical model and its aim to deliver the right care or advice, in the right place, every time.
Board members will approve the Trust’s first ever wellbeing objectives, an important part of its duties under the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, and will also receive an update on the Speaking Up Safely initiative, designed to support colleagues to speak up safely and in confidence to protect patients, the public and the wider NHS workforce.
There will also be an opportunity to pose a question to the Board.
Colin Dennis, Chair of the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “Board meetings are an opportunity to really learn about our ambulance service and to understand the processes behind the decisions being made by the Board.
“They’re also an opportunity to hear first-hand about the work that’s happening here and how to improve things for our people and our patients, as well as put questions to its decision-makers.”
