Trust Board meeting to be held on Thursday

THE Welsh Ambulance Service will host its bi-monthly Trust Board meeting this Thursday.

The Trust’s Executive and Non-Executive Directors will review recent performance and look ahead to the future under the stewardship of Chair Martin Woodford.

Members of the public are invited to attend virtually on Zoom and can even submit questions in advance.

Martin Woodford said: “Once again we look forward to a progressive meeting which will cover all the key points of business as we navigate our way out of the pandemic period and towards a new brighter future.

“We will of course be answering any questions submitted by members of the public and people can also join us virtually to listen in to proceedings.”

A highlight of the event will be a presentation by Dr Catherine Goodwin, the Trust’s interim Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, and a short video addressing the impact of current pressures on call handling and dispatch staff.
