The Welsh Ambulance Service Charity is the only official NHS charity that supports the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, the national ambulance service of Wales. It is registered with the Charity Commission (registered charity number 1050084).
Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust is designated as Corporate Trustee of the Charity. In order to assist the Corporate Trustee to fulfil its statutory duties under this registration, a Charity Committee has been established with delegated powers to manage the Charity.
