Welsh Ambulance Service to host bi-monthly Board meeting

15.01.26

The Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting – and the public are invited.

Join the meeting on Thursday 29 January via Microsoft Teams to hear senior leaders cover a full agenda, including an update from the Chief Executive and a discussion on how the service is working to reduce patient harm.

Board members will hear Judith’s story, in which she describes her experience trying to call 999 for her mother after a fall at home in Caerphilly last year, and how this led to the creation of the Trust’s Falls Desk.

There will also be an opportunity to pose a question to the Board.

Chair Colin Dennis said: “Board meetings offer a valuable chance to deepen understanding of the ambulance service and gain insight into how key decisions are made.

“They also provide a forum to hear directly about ongoing work, explore ways to enhance support for the Trust’s staff and patients and engage with the people responsible for making those decisions.”
