Welsh Ambulance Service to host bi-monthly Board meeting

The Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting.

The public can join on Zoom to hear senior leaders discuss the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service improvement journey, progress to reduce patient harm and the Trust’s new Speaking Up Safely framework.

An education and training support officer will discuss her role within the service, and there will also be an opportunity to pose a question to the Board.

Colin Dennis, Chair of the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “Board meetings are an opportunity to really learn about our ambulance service and to understand the processes behind the decisions being made by the Board.

“They’re also an opportunity to hear first-hand about the work that’s happening here and how to improve things for our people and our patients, as well as put questions to its decision-makers.”

Click here to watch the Board meeting on Friday 29 November 2024 from 9.30am.

To pre-submit a question, please email AMB_AskUs@wales.nhs.uk by no later than Wednesday 27 November 2024.

The meeting will also be streamed live to the Trust’s Facebook page, and an agenda will be available on the Trust’s website in the days prior to the meeting.
