The Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting – and the public are invited.
Join the meeting on Thursday 24 September via Microsoft Teams to hear senior leaders cover a full agenda, including approval of the Welsh Language Annual Report 2025/26, highlighting the progress in strengthening Welsh language services, compliance standards and enhancing Welsh language provision in clinical services.
The Board will also approve the Strategic Equality Plan Annual Report 2025/26 which includes the Workforce Diversity Report and Gender Pay Gap Report, and discuss the Speaking up Safely Annual Report, an initiative designed to support colleagues to speak up safely and in confidence to protect patients, the public and the wider NHS workforce.
There will also be an opportunity to put questions to the Board.
Colin Dennis, Chair of the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “Board meetings offer a valuable chance to develop a deeper understanding of our ambulance service and the processes that shape the decisions made by the Board.
“They also offer the chance to hear directly about the work taking place across the organisation, learn how improvements are being made for our people and patients, and put questions to those responsible for making key decisions.”
