Welsh Ambulance Service to host bi-monthly Board meeting

THE Welsh Ambulance Service is preparing to host its bi-monthly Board meeting.

The public can join on Zoom to hear senior leaders discuss a packed agenda, including the progress on actions to mitigate patient harm and the Trust’s Integrated Medium Term Plan, including its financial plan.

The Board will also discuss and approve the Trust’s Strategic Equality Plan, the Workforce Equality Monitoring Report and Gender Pay Gap reports.

Chair Colin Dennis said: “Board meetings are an opportunity to really learn about our ambulance service and to understand the processes behind the decisions being made by the Board.

“They’re also an opportunity to hear about the work that’s happening here and now to improve things for patients and staff, as well as put questions to its decision-makers.”

The meeting will also be streamed live to the Trust’s Facebook page, and an agenda will be available on the Trust’s website in the coming days.
