Statement on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
FOLLOWING this evening’s announcement from Buckingham Palace of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust has offered its condolences to the Royal Family.
Chief Executive Jason Killens said: “We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“During her long and celebrated reign, Her Majesty was an exemplary monarch who gave her entire life to serving the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth with unwavering pride.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the entire Royal Family at this incredibly sad time.”
Chair Martin Woodford said: “Her Majesty worked tirelessly for the good of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, supporting many organisations who will mourn her greatly.
“The thoughts of everyone at the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.”
