Shoctober

The Trust's annual campaign which is held throughout October aims to teach primary school pupils about the correct use of 999, what happens when you call, and life saving skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use a defibrillator.

Information about Shoctober is currently being updated.

In the meantime, primary schools are encouraged to register for Restart a Heart Live 2026, a free live-streamed event on 1 October 2026. The event is designed specifically to give pupils simple life-saving CPR awareness.
