Emergency Medical Service (EMS)
Official performance statistical outputs (classified as NHS Performance) are defined as National Statistics. National Statistics are Official Statistics which have been certified by UK Statistics Authority as compliant with its Code of Practice. EMS Performance Statistics are published on the last Wednesday of each month at 9:30am

Pre-Release Access Arrangements
In addition to the staff producing a statistical report certain individuals are allowed early access to official statistics.
This enables people such as Welsh Government (Statistics Producer) and Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust Executive and Communications Team to comment on statistics based on a correct understanding of them.
The rules governing who and why early access is granted are set out in The Pre-Release Access to Official Statistics (Wales) Order 2009. To ensure we are following the rules the UK Statistics Authority can assess pre-release access arrangements.
In the interest of openness and transparency we publish the title of statistical reports to which pre-release access arrangements apply. We include job titles of all those persons to whom pre-release access is granted and the organisation’s to which they belong. Welsh Government publish their own list of pre-release access arrangements found here
